While I might live in the Geist area of Indianapolis now, my story began in Muncie, Indiana. Throughout my childhood, the values of hard work, honesty, and living with integrity was instilled into me by my family. To me, there is no greater attribute in life than honesty – it is the center stone on which I’ve built my life. I believe that trust can only be earned through honest words and honest actions, and I have worked hard my entire career to demonstrate both.
After 20 years of working in the finance and insurance industry, I was ready for a meaningful change. I wanted to build a career that best reflected my personal values and my commitment to service. I joined the C21 team and quickly realized I had found my true calling. Alongside this team of consummate professionals, I found myself working with individuals who valued honesty, integrity, and hard work as much as I do, and when combined with a fiery passion for client care, I knew I had found the right career for me.
When I’m not working with my clients to help them find the home of their dreams or sell their current property for the best price, I can be found enjoying quality time with my beautiful wife Carlene, my son, my four incredible step-daughters, and my six precious grandchildren. On nice days, you can find me out on the water at Geist sailing my boat!
I started selling real estate in 1998. I had been with Northwestern Mutual for 14 years and wanted to see something else in a career. I had great success with Northwestern Mutual and had made many friends and worked with my brother Phil. I was fortunate to have interviewed with Century 21 At the crossing now C21 Scheetz. The leadership there was excellent and it really had not only great training but a professional culture which I was use to coming from with one of the strongest financial institution in the country. It was a struggle at first because it was a different kind of sales process than what I had trained in. But as time went by I put together my plan and started developing my business. I am always concerned about my clients and having the highest integrity with every sale. I want the home to be right the fit, the numbers to work and a potential uptik for my clients when they would go to sell at a later time. My life style selling real estate could not be better. I have the time to not only help clients but I spend a lot of time working in the community. I serve God at Church and through out the week. I teach sailing in the summer to lots of great folks at the Indianapolis sailing club. I work as a Ward Chair hiring workers at the polls during elections. I am a masters swimmer and a member at the local YMCA and member of United states masters swimming. I always like helping someone swim better as I like helping people learn to sail better. So that is a little about me. If you are interested in learning more and if you are looking for a new home, or wanting to sell your home. I have time and want to help you find that new home. I think I will do a great job for you and your family. Sincerely Chic Clark REALTOR
Thank you for visiting my Real estate Web site. I hope you find it useful for finding out about me and what I can do for you when finding a home. As well as learning about the community we live in and sell homes. I have lived in Indianapolis since 1984. In fact, I grew up in Muncie Indiana just 50 minutes away practically on Ball State Campus. I am a graduate of Indiana University and I have been associated with Century 21 Scheetz since 1999 and I have sold hundreds of homes over the years. Over the last 20 years, I have lived at Geist. Geist is located in the Northeast corner of Marion County. Why do I like living in the Geist/Fishers area? I really love water sports. Sailing my boats in regattas & biking around the lake on the bike path. The Indianapolis Sailing Club is the lakes landmark club. It was started in 1955. Geist Reservoir is the watershed for Indianapolis. Sailing, skiing, and fishing are some of the best in the state. You can go fishing in the morning and be at one of our professional league games in the afternoon in less than 30 minutes. Don't forget the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is only 30 minutes away with multiple events Starting in May each year. Geist/Fishers is convenient to shopping and restaurants. Another big attraction for me is the nearby Ft Benjamin Harrison State Park. It has great hiking, fishing, and mountain bike trails. Speaking of biking, Indianapolis and Fishers have developed all kinds of bike trails and the new Fishers trail should be completed soon. If you are considering a move and want to discuss your options and costs associated with making a move and selling your home please give me a call.
